How to Embrace Change for Career Success

“One should not adapt to change, but create it " - Jorge Gonzalez Moore

Some people are afraid of happiness. They live dissatisfied and never take control of their own decisions. They need direction, a purpose in life, but they are stuck in the same circumstances, with the old habits of doing the same things. They are always looking for approval from others, waiting for someone or something to change. These people associate change with something negative.

Career success comes from embracing change

Have you ever been unhappy in, or unsatisfied by, your ecommerce job, but too scared to do anything about it? Be warned: it's in times like these that if you don’t generate your own change, life will do it for you. If, however, you provoke these changes, they will happen in a more conscious way. This means that you will be able to consider all possible scenarios and prepare yourself as best you can for the adventure ahead.

When you don't embrace change and life creates it for you, the situation becomes much more difficult – and painful – to handle. Why? Simply because this type of change presents itself as the only option, leaving you feeling as though there are no positives to take from the situation and no new beginnings in sight.

Build your career by taking control of your situation

Looking to the future and making decisions will help you achieve what you want and need. Sometimes, the biggest challenge of all is knowing what you really want; other times, it's knowing how to achieve your career goal. Regardless, taking control of your feelings and taking responsibility for your situation, is the first step towards building career success. And, most importantly, happiness.

We all have difficult moments in our lives, but if you become stuck in the same patterns and you're constantly feeling dissatisfied, then the problem may be more complex than you think. Sometimes, people avoid making changes simply because they don't want to or they're not ready to, and recognising this tendency in yourself is key to beginning your career journey

Career change & success: the key takeaways

In life there are only three sure things: death, taxes and constant change. For many people, coping with change is a huge challenge. If, however, you learn to see it as something natural and positive, it will be much easier to face and prepare for. If, in addition to this, you learn not only to enjoy the changes but to generate them yourself, your happiness and your career options will soar. Remember, you're not at the "mercy" of your circumstances, you can view, anticipate and generate new and exciting challenges.

You're the only person who can change your circumstances; we all create our own reality. If you don’t give yourself the opportunity to identify what it is that is limiting you, then youbecome your greatest obstacle.
