Dec 14, 2017 1:10:46 PM

That’s right…it’s almost time for our 2018 Ecommerce Salary Survey. 2017 has been an incredible year in ecommerce, so we want to find out what’s new with all of you ecommerce superstars out there!

How can I take part in the 2018 Ecommerce Salary Survey?

You can share your insights on the ecommerce industry from the 8th of January, which is when our #PandaPounds 2018 questionnaire launches. Be sure to keep an eye on our social channels, where we will be shouting about all things ecommerce and #PandaPounds: LinkedIn, Twitter, Twitter Jobs and Facebook.

Once you complete the questionnaire, make sure you tell all of your fellow ecommerce professionals to take part…we want to make this the biggest salary survey yet.

What is #PandaPounds?

Our annual ecommerce salary survey campaign, #PandaPounds, welcomes ecommerce professionals from around the globe to take our industry specific questionnaire. The survey covers salary benchmarks, hiring and job seeking trends, work-life balance and predictions for 2018. Well, these are just a few of the topics!

Once the questionnaire closes, we collect all the wonderful data and insights together to produce our annual report. After we have our shiny new report, we throw our annual #PandaPounds launch party which welcomes respondents and ecommerce professionals to hear the insights for the first time.

The fun does not stop there! Once the report is launched, it’s not only available to download for free but we will release exclusive blog features not found in the report.

What will we cover in the 2018 ecommerce salary survey?

In the salary survey questionnaire this year, we will be covering the following…

  • Your background (please note, all responses are confidential and no personally identifiable information is required.)
  • Your current role
  • Your current salary band, company benefits and overtime levels
  • Your current company (no company name required. This will distinguish company industry, team size etc.)
  • Your daily commute
  • Salary expectations for 2018
  • Your expectations for the ecommerce industry in 2018
  • Workplace happiness
  • Hiring process insights
  • The main challenges and company goals for 2018

While this might seem like information overload, don’t fear…the questionnaire takes 5 – 10 minutes to complete. We know how busy the ecommerce industry is, so some of the questions are non-compulsory if finding the time is an issue.

Important things to note

A few important things to note in regards to our 2018 ecommerce salary survey…

  • Privacy – We take your privacy seriously, so you can rest assured that we will never release any personally identifiable information about our respondents. The data featured in our report, and the following #PandaPounds features, is displayed in aggregate.
  • At the end of the questionnaire we do ask for your name and email address which is completely optional. However, doing so gives you access to some #PandaPounds goodies. We will automatically enter you into our prize draw, giving you the chance to win one of two £100 Amazon vouchers.
  • As part of our Panda Giving initiative, we will be donating £1 per response to the brilliant OPERA Global Youth Foundation.
