Panda Adventure: Portugal Pandas on tour!

Working at cranberry panda, we love nothing more than enjoying fun outings as a team. For our latest adventure, we decided it should be all about sun and fun! Some of the team grabbed their swimsuits, stocked up on sun cream and packed their cases for three days of panda fun in sunny Portugal!

So, what did the Portugal Pandas get up to?

Day 1

We arrived at Stansted nice and early on Friday morning, itching to get on the flight and start the trip! For a flight full of stag and hen parties, it went surprisingly smoothly for us pandas (perhaps the Bloody Mary’s helped there!)

After landing safely, we made our way to the beautiful Vale De Labo to settle into our wonderful villa. After a quick dip in the pool, it was time for lunch. Our chosen destination was BJ’s Oceanside Restaurant – a fantastic venue on the beach with an unbeatable summer vibe. We were treated to lovely food, cool drinks and a live band (with Yasmin joining in for a few renditions!)

We ended the long day with a chilled evening in the villa, ready to go for day 2!

Day 2

After stocking up our fridge (we might have finished everything on the first day…) we had a chilled day by the pool, with a BBQ lunch to enjoy!

It turned out that the Eurovision Song Contest was being held in Portugal, so cranberry panda co-founder Joe invited us over to his for a Eurovision party and Sushi. It’s safe to say that there was plenty of outrage at the result… (who knew Eurovision incited such passion!) It was certainly a fun filled day!

Day 3

Our last day…trying not to cry as I type this! For our final day, we aimed to be as chilled as possible – lots of sun, some yummy food and reminiscing on a fun few days. Following breakfast, we headed for a lakeside Mojito followed by another beachfront lunch.

After basking in the rooftop terrace, it was time to go back to the villa and pack up our bags. Goodbye, sun. Goodbye, villa. Goodbye, Portugal. We couldn’t be too sad however – it really was a fantastic team trip.
