Portugal Poppin' Pandas

Us pandas know how to celebrate our birthday in style. We packed our bags and hopped on board a plane to sunny Portugal for a long weekend - in time for the hottest day of the year so far. Perfect. We would love to tell you all about it, but for legal reasons we can't. Feel free to search #pandamonium on twitter which will reveal some highlights. I can tell you that half of the team left their livers, voices and some dignity back in Portugal - but we did gain a mobile phone...

Here was the original itinery:

Thursday after work

• taxi to Stansted so bring everything you need with you on Thursday morning.

Friday

• Flight leaves at 6.30 so we’ll need to leave the hotel around 5.15am;
• Go to Vilamoura – drop bags, relax for a bit;
• Get some lunch in the harbour;
• Go on the catamaran from 2-5 with beer and wine;
• More drinks in the harbour;
• Head back to the hotel for some food;
• More drinks then probably get a cab around 10.30 to Monty’s in Vale de Lobo for some drinks.

Saturday

• Lazy morning, have breakfast at the hotel;
• Head to the waterpark for 1ish. We can take beer and wine with us;
• Have some fun;
• Go back to the hotel – tidy up, do a jaeger bomb or two and get back out there;
• Up to you all what we do Saturday but probably be around Vilamoura.

Sunday

• Very lazy morning;
• Very lazy lunch at BJ’s on the beach;
• Fly home;
• Taxi back into London.
