UX Designer – Travel

An opportunity for a UX designer to work at a world-renowned booking platform. They are in the process of growing their Experiments Team (known as CRO team in other companies). They are driven by developers having autonomy when it comes to decision making and implementation. They want a highly capable and creative designer to come on board and work within the pods to produce fresh ideas.

The company is a well-known travel brand that has been creating innovative experiences for the customers for years. They specialised in providing some of the best offers to their customers. They have an extensive database of about 360 million different deals and offers available to their customers (a lot, I know!) and always make sure to present them with the most suitable options. They have a strong, close-knit team consisting of developers and designers all situated in their robust London offices. This is your chance to showcase some great design ideas and bring them to life with your own flare.
About the Role...
Each team consists of developers, engineers, data scientists and UX designers and are known as "pods". They currently have 4/5 pods and are looking to grow these in the next few months. You conceptualise, build, test and implement if viable or you simply come up with something new. You should be able to challenge yourself as well as your team. This is end-to-end UX so you will be touching on all aspects of design from research through to the live product – exciting, I know!
To be successful in this position, the company needs someone with:
- Ability to come up with new and cool ideas within design
- Brave enough to bring an idea to life and start again if it isn’t viable/ suitable
- Experience with: Widgets, filtering, search engines / search forms, booking engine
- The ability to use data and transform them into actionable insights
