Key Account Manager – Travel | Barcelona

We’re supporting a major European eCommerce group as they build out their Travel & Leisure team in Barcelona.

They’re looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to develop the Travel category across hotels, holiday clubs, residences, leisure parks and tour operators.

This is a commercial role with a strong focus on new partner acquisition, direct contracting and developing long-term supplier relationships.

The role:

  • Identify, prospect and onboard new travel partners

  • Build a strong and diversified supplier portfolio

  • Negotiate pricing, exclusivity, allocations and commercial terms

  • Develop compelling travel offers and manage the commercial calendar

  • Build long-term relationships with hotels, tour operators and other travel partners

  • Analyse sales performance and identify opportunities for growth

  • Work closely with internal production, marketing, customer service and technology teams

  • Develop an ambitious commercial plan for the category

What we’re looking for:

  • 5+ years’ experience within commercial, buying, contracting or production roles

  • Strong experience within travel, tourism or hospitality

  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-management skills

  • Strong commercial and analytical mindset

  • Experience developing new supplier relationships

  • Fluent English

  • Spanish is highly desirable
