Job Title: E-Commerce Product Owner for heavily backed tech for good scale-up

Location: Central London and Remote (no set days to go in the office but they would ideally like to see you a few times a month)

Salary: £70,000- £80,000

Contract Type: Permanent

 

A highly successful tech for good, scale-up are looking for an E-Commerce Product Manager, they are business that are really going places and have recently won another $20 million in funding. They are ultimately a tech business that is passionate about driving and being the leaders in sustainability in their industry. This role is not only really interesting but challenging and rewarding because not only do they develop all of software in-house their product itself is very complicated but is becoming a huge industry disruptor.

 

Their Digital Product Owners are responsible for the end to end delivery of new customer experiences that support their digital vision. It is a broad role needing customer focus, commercial acumen, the ability to think strategically, and a high level of technical knowledge. You will be defining digital solutions to their customer’s problems - taking control of workshops to generate and refine ideas, taking the lead with technical scoping sessions, driving prioritisation and overseeing development & deployment. Combined working is key – you will be working with the wider business teams to understand business problems & opportunities, and the IT team to scope and deliver change. Experience of agile working will be beneficial as they work together to evolve their delivery model.

 

Responsibilities

  • Take the lead of one or more Scrum teams as the Product Owner
  • Plan and prioritise product feature backlog and development for the products according to business value or ROI in alignment with product strategy
  • Provide vision and direction to the Scrum team(s) and stakeholders throughout the project and create requirements
  • Research and analyse market, the users, and the roadmap for the product
  • Shipping great product over creating snazzy PowerPoints
  • Keep up to date with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends
  • Support in defining the product vision, road-map and growth opportunities
  • Work closely with other Product Owners to ensure consistency across Scrum teams
  • Mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals

 

Your profile

  • Previous working experience as a Product Owner for 3+ years delivering best-in-class B2C experiences
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles
  • Outstanding communication, presentation skills with leadership potential
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Creative thinker with a vision
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner preferred
  • Experience managing stakeholders
  • Experience of data analytics and A/B testing preferred
  • Good knowledge of eCommerce practices
  • Highly proficient using Data Analytics packages
  • Good understanding of User-Centred Design
