Job Title: FTC Senior E-Commerce Product Owner

Location: West London

Salary: £55,000- £65,000

Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract for 9 Months with a really good chance to go Permanent afterwards

 

A highly successful high-end B2C Retail and E-Commerce company are currently working on a number of very interesting projects and they are looking for a Senior Product Owner who has experience within E-Commerce to help them.

 

Their Digital Product Owners are responsible for the end to end delivery of new customer experiences that support their digital vision. It is a broad role needing customer focus, commercial acumen, the ability to think strategically, and a high level of technical knowledge. You will be defining digital solutions to their customer’s problems - taking control of workshops to generate and refine ideas, taking the lead with technical scoping sessions, driving prioritisation and overseeing development & deployment. Combined working is key – you will be working with the wider business teams to understand business problems & opportunities, and the IT team to scope and deliver change. Experience of agile working will be beneficial as they work together to evolve their delivery model.

 

Responsibilities

  • Scoping, analysis and the delivery of a range of the Digital roadmap initiatives (of varying length and complexity)
  • Collaborating with different colleagues from UX and data insight teams to build a deep understanding of the customer and their needs
  • Defining and prioritising initiatives based on customer needs, business value & technical considerations, building a business cases to support this
  • Working with colleagues from IT to agree the best technical solutions for meeting business and customer needs
  • Working closely with other business areas (trading, marketing, merchandising, creative, retail, contact centre, finance and logistics) to make sure internal stakeholders are aligned and their requirements are met
  • Communicating those opportunities, progress and issues across the business as needed
  • Understanding how projects impact all departments within the business, gaining buy in and ensuring the projects/initiatives are transitioned into the business successfully
  • Working with the wider Customer Experience and IT team to continually improve ways of working

 

Your profile

  • Must have ecommerce experience as a Product Owner, delivering value in a retail/digital/agile environment
  • You will have a strong commercial focus and the ability to prioritise tasks accordingly
  • Be Data driven, customer focused, proactive, creative and innovative
  • Have excellent communication & stakeholder management
  • Pragmatic and results-focused, driven to manage the full projects life-cycle
  • Technical experience beneficial to allow the Product Owner to advise the BA and front end teams on implementation and be aware of any impact
  • Able to work well independently and within a team; with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • If you have experience with Hybris & Adobe analytics this is beneficial
