In our annual eCommerce salary survey report, we decided to ask respondents about their teams and why they have potentially grown.
56% of respondents shared that their team has grown in the last 12 months. Meanwhile, 19% revealed their team had shrunk, leaving 25% who said their team size remained the same. Overall, it's promising to see that the majority of respondents experienced growth in their teams.
The 56% growth statistic not only highlights the expansion of teams but also reflects the strategic importance of a focused eCommerce recruitment strategy. To attract top talent, it's not just about focusing on hiring when there's a gap in the team. To make the most of team growth, it's important to have a talent pipeline for candidates at all seniority levels and also a diverse set of skills.
