Panda Q&A: Ecommerce contract recruitment director, Kevin

We are delighted to welcome Kevin to cranberry towers this week, heading up the ecommerce contract recruitment division. To introduce the newest panda, what better way than a Panda Q&A?

Tell us a bit about your recruitment journey before joining the pandas

I worked as a chef before attending university, where I studied sports Science with a view to becoming a PE Teacher. After leaving university I went through a Morgan McKinley graduate scheme, where I started my recruitment career. With 9 years of experience, 3 of which spent abroad in Dubai hiring everything from Airfield Lighting Technician to Cheese Factory Managers for Saudi Arabia, I have a unique view on how to navigate the search process to make sure we are working with the right professionals on either side of the process.

Most recently, having built a contract recruitment service for a great IT Recruitment, Training and Apprenticeships business, I have joined Cranberry Panda to build an E Commerce orientated Contract Team to compliment the high performing and talented permanent team already in place.

What are you most looking forward to now that you’ve started your panda adventure?

I am most looking forward to working with the driven and accomplished team already here, while building a successful contract team to drive the success of the business. I’m also looking forward to learning more about the E Commerce Industry which is one of the most exciting markets out there.

What drew you towards cranberry panda?

The senior team, the story so far and the strategy and direction for the future combined to make this an opportunity I could not say no to.

What’s your favourite thing about the ecommerce industry?

The diversity and constant demand for change to remain successful makes this a perfect market to build a contract team in.

You can pick one superpower…what would it be and why?

The ability to make people laugh; happiness is powerful and has the ability to invoke change in all of us.

If you could have dinner with one celebrity/historical figure, who would it be and why?

Martin Luther King – it would be amazing to tell him how far we have come as a result of the efforts he and other made. Also, it would be inspiring to hear first hand how he managed to overcome the obstacles put in his way.
