Cranberry Panda consultant Felipé cycles 26 miles for Breast Cancer

Felipé González, one of our fellow Panda’s and Recruitment Consultant here at Cranberry Panda has successfully cycled 26 miles in London on Friday 29th July to spread awareness for Breast Cancer Now.

This cause means a lot to Felipé as it is understood that almost every person has been directly or indirectly affected by Breast Cancer in their lifetime, and to support his birthday celebrations he organised the cycle.

How it went

We asked Felipé for a summary of his day, to which he said:

“I had organised a ride of 50+ people from Tower Bridge to Wandsworth Bridge, onto Marble Arch and finishing at the Tower of London. After roaming different streets, the cycle totalled to 26 miles, all whilst wearing pink in support of Breast Cancer Now.

I raised a whopping £1185.00 with the help of friends, family, and my colleagues across Ascent Group and I hope to do something like this again for another organisation next.”

Cranberry Panda and Ascent Group were proud sponsors of the event, and we will continue to show as much support as possible to our consultants for future activities.

What is Breast Cancer Now?

‘We're Breast Cancer Now, the charity that's steered by world-class research and powered by life-changing care. We're here for anyone affected by breast cancer, the whole way through, providing support for today and hope for the future. By 2050, we believe everyone diagnosed with breast cancer will live - and be supported to live well. But we need to act now.’

How can I help?

Although Felipé has impressively hit his target already – we are grateful for further help. If you would like to make a donation to Breast Cancer Now, you can do so here.
