Digital Dogooders Skydive 26th October 2012

Ever seen a flying panda?

No, neither have we but we're getting our disposable cameras at the ready to see the chief panda skydive. Jonathan will be joined by fellow members of the Digital Dogooders group to take part in a skydive later this month to support the Birdshot charity.

Who are the Digital Dogooders?

The Digital Dogooders Group are a group of ecommerce professionals who are self proclaimed adrenaline junkies raising money for a number of charities, by putting their own lives on the line...although we certainly hope not! The Digital Dogooders group includes the following members; our very own chief panda Jonathan Hall, Leon Bailey-Green, Fergal O’Mullane (Conduit Consultancy), Helen Colclough (Not on the High Street), Gabrielle Hase (Soleberry), Paul Sheehy (Folk) and Mark Bolitho (The Ecommerce Network).

Why are we doing this?

Fergal's wife Lorraine was diagnosed with an incurable eye disease called Birdshot Chorioretinopathy. It's very rare and potentially blinding. It has changed her sight and her life in many ways, and it's a daily battle taking toxic medication in order to stabilise the condition. Lorraine has faced the challenge head on and become an active member of the Birdshot charity.

How can you help?

By joining us at the Birdshot Winter Benefit on the 3rd of November.

The Winter Benefit promises to be a great evening with;

  • Champagne and Canapes
  • Three Course Dinner prepared by Celebrity Chef Merrilees Parker and her team
  • A fundraising raffle and silent auction
  • Dancing until the small hours at the famous Rifles Club.

 If you can't make it, you could make a donation in support of the skydive.

Thank you in advance for your support and we hope to see you at the Winter Benefit.
