How to boost productivity and happiness in just 10 days

Can everyone turn their dreams into reality? And can you really become more productive – and happier – in just 10 days? They’re the questions that we asked Tamara Medina Sapovalova, Business Confidence Coach and honorary panda.

Her answer? Yes!

While many of you will know Tamara from her Panda Express blog posts, you might not be aware that she’s also the creator of the 10X Productive programme. Designed to equip you with all of the tools and knowledge that you need to break out of that rut, move forward and succeed, her programme introduces 10 actions in 10 days. These actions will help you discover how to set actionable career goals, take control of your life, enhance your self-awareness, plan your steps to success and maintain a healthy balance in your life.

Sounds great, right? Right! So, when Tamara asked me if I wanted to see the programme, of course I said yes…

“If we do not set goals, it is as if we are flying aimlessly, and when this happens, we feel out of control.” 

Many of us are responsible for creating strategies at work. We work hard to achieve the goals of the business that we work for, or own. But what about our personal career goals? How many of us put some time aside each week to review where we are, what we’re working towards and what is - or isn’t - working? How many of us even have personal career goals?

As you might have already guessed, the 10X Productive programme is heavily based around goal setting and breaking down barriers. Why? To turn your career dreams into reality, of course! Curious to know more..?

10 days, 10 actions 

That’s right, the programme itself takes 10 days to complete. Each day consists of a short video, a few paragraphs of text and some exercises to reinforce the session’s key learnings. The journey begins at ‘the secret of success’. It continues with a variety of topics including time management (with a thought provoking look at procrastination) and the internal and external influences that can impact negatively on your success. Day 10 ends with a much needed look at work-life balance, establishing boundaries and taking time to enjoy the success that you create.

Each day focuses solely on 1 action with lessons reinforcing what you’ve previously learnt and motivating you to remember – and make use of - all of the actions.  Yes, making a big life change is hard and it does require time, effort and commitment, but using the 10X Productive programme as a guide makes it all feel so much easier!

And once the 10 days are over..? Well, you’ve got 10 actions in your ‘life change toolbox’ and a whole load of insights (and personal benchmarks) to help you on your way. You’ll want to keep reviewing everything though; revise the 10 actions and use your initial answers to review your progress on a regular basis.

This programme really does feature something useful for everyone who’s keen to further their career and follow their dreams.
