Panda Q&A - UX Design Consultant Marvin

So, we decided on the marketing team to find out more about our UX design consultant Marvin. It is amazing to see a new member of our company being themselves every day, that is what makes us special!

This question has probably been exhausted but, if you won £6 million what would you do with it?

"There are two things I’d do. Firstly, I would try and acquire as many properties I could with half of that money and rent them out (way of having a steady income without working too much). I will also set up a trust fund for my siblings with 1.5 million, which they will receive at a specified time and have them invest with it. Life is easier when everyone is comfortable. I will also use £500, 000 to set up some sort of non-profit organisation to help those less fortunate (preferably orphaned children). I believe in leaving something positive behind. The million left will be in my accounts and simply left there. I will continue my normal life with the occasional reasonable spend. I think that’s what I’d do."

If you could live anywhere in the world, where and why?

"London. I love this city and I don’t see myself living elsewhere. Maybe short spells around the world but whenever I’m away from London, I feel like something is missing or I try to find this I have no access to. The diversity and history in London you walk through is a constant reminder of how great it is. London has everything I want / need. There’s always something to do."

What did young Marvin as a kid want to be when he grew up?

"I wanted to be a lot of things. I changed as the years went on but as a child, I wanted to be an aeronautical engineer. My uncle was and I was (still am) fascinated by planes and I thought he was the coolest guy ever!"

You have one day left before the world is destroyed what would you do with your one day?

"I would make sure to leave something (to the best of my ability) for the next world to find. Some sort of clue to give them an idea of who/ what we were and the world we lived in. I would then spend the rest of my time with my family. Talk about things that have happened and dreams we had. Laugh, sing, play games and turn a negative situation into a positive one. Always remember, life is good but only as good as you want it to be / make it."
