Marketing Pandas (MP): Tell us about your role as a business confidence coach

Tamara Medina Sapovalova (TM): I support people in the rollercoaster of starting and growing their business, and discovering what it is they really want to do.

I have always been fascinated by people, from what makes them tick to why do we do the things we do. We are all unique yet so similar. I get so much joy and satisfaction when my clients have a moment of realisation, it is palpable and you can see it in their eyes.

My goal is to inspire people into action and give them confidence. I know only too well how much a lack of confidence can hold you back from building that successful business or pursuing your dreams.

TM: You’ve just launched your book on the 10XProductive programme. What inspired you to write this?

I have been blogging for the Huffington Post for a few years and I wanted to encapsulate some of the things I shared. Coaching changed my life and now I want to share my knowledge and experience with others.

MP: Can you give us an overview of the 10XProductive programme?

TM: I have created a special programme for people who want to change and take control of their lives by implementing new habits, making themselves 10 times more productive.

Everyone wants to know how to maximize efficiency in business, but almost no one asks how efficient they are as an individual. A person needs to have the right "tools" and techniques in order to transfer common every day ideas and experiences to the world of business, and make them work!

I believe very strongly that a person's health and wellbeing should always come first; the 10XProductive programme is all about balance. It contains a series of tools and exercises that are designed to help you reach that balance between your life at work and your personal life. It's based on my experience, having worked with people from many different countries, cultures and/or backgrounds.

The programme is divided into 10 modules (days) and each module contains: a PDF document, audio and video content, bonus materials and access to a discussion forum where you can share your experience of the programme with others.

You only need a few minutes each day to complete the programme.

MP: What types of tools will ecommerce superstars gain / develop from the 10XProductive programme?

TM: Ecommerce professionals working in managerial roles can easily use it as a self-development tool for their teams as well as themselves. That said, it's not just for people within managerial roles. Everyone can benefit from the programme, using it:

  • to navigate common challenges that they might face when looking for the right job
  • to deal with time management issues
  • for goal setting
  • for help in areas such as decision making and taking responsibility
  • to explore personal values and boost confidence

MP: You weren’t always a business confidence coach, but you followed your heart and now you’re in your dream role. What advice would you give to others who find themselves in a similar situation, unfulfilled by their current role and in need of a change?

TM: I love phrases and one of my favourites is “our dreams are the blueprint of what we are capable of achieving”. If we dream about something, it is because we have the skills and abilities to make that dream come true. The big question that we need to ask ourselves is: are we going to do something about it?

We build our future with the decisions and actions that we take today. So if there's any ‘advice’ that I could share it's: follow your instinct even if it's scaring you :)
