Salary Expectations in 2017
Have salary expectations changed from 2016? 60.9% of our respondents in 2016 expected to see a salary increase at some point in the year. That’s a promising number! How many of our respondents for 2017 felt the same?
63.1% so far believe, or expect, that they will get an increase in salary this year. Very interesting! What about those who do not expect an increase in salary, and why do they think this is the case? We must wait and see…
Essentials for a new role
Looking for a new job in 2017? One of our favourite questions for ecommerce professionals is what they feel is essential when considering a new role. From salary and monetary benefits to the team and management, this is your chance to rank what you consider essential, and what you don’t, when looking for new roles.
We don’t want to reveal everything just yet, so here’s a quick sneak peek:
- Salary – Of our respondents so far, 61.4% feel that the salary for a role is essential to them accepting or applying.
- The brand – 22.1% of our respondents so far feel that the brand they work for is essential for choosing a new role.
- Company Culture – 40.1% believe a good company culture is essential to a role.
What aspects of a role do respondents consider unimportant? What else is essential, or important, for ecommerce professionals when considering a new role? All will be revealed in the finished report!
