It’s been a busy few weeks here at cranberry panda towers, with Web Analytics Wednesday and the launch of our ecommerce salary survey; we’ve barely had time to catch our breath. We did have the time to celebrate the launch of our salary guide in typical panda style though… with a massive knees up in Dirty Martini, Bishopsgate.
The night began with fabulous insight into the latest online retail innovations from Ashley Friedlein - our non-exec director and the founder of econsultancy.
Ashley’s talk highlighted the “speed of customer behaviour change” in shopping patterns which he believes is most evident “through Digital and probably most interestingly through mobile”
Mobile commerce is “booming massively” and as Ashley explained so is customer experience, programmatic marketing and marketing automation. This was based on data taken from over 4,000 Marketers via the econsultancy/Adobe Quarterly Digital Intelligence Briefing.
Some of the most exciting Omni-channel retail innovations were also underlined, with IKEA’s augmented reality catalogue and Burberry’s personalisation function standing out as the most impressive developments.
Throughout the night our lucky guests were treated to an array of platters and plentiful alcohol including the specially concocted cranberry panda Martini, which went down a treat!
With a mix of funky tunes from the resident DJ a fun filled night was had by all.
