About IR35

You may have heard about the government crackdown on IR35 – a UK tax legislation that was put in place to stop ‘disguised’ employees, as known by HMRC, from avoiding tax by providing their services through an intermediary, an example being a limited company.

However, since April 2021, it is now within the responsibility of the hiring company to determine the status of the employment for tax purposes. Assessments forms are then sent out to ensure we receive this information in writing.
