Recession? No jobs? What is this waffle?
With ecommerce growing, cranberry panda places a whopping 100 candidates.
Hearing continuous talk of ‘doom and gloom’ regarding jobs on the news, and us pandas could be forgiven for living in another realm. To be fair, the ecommerce sector is another story altogether, the number of jobs is continuously growing and there are by far a greater number of roles than there are candidates. So it would be an understatement to say that we have exceeeded our own expectations. We are definitely popping the champers and celebrating our triumph in matchmaking 100 candidates with their dream jobs.
While the traditional job market continues to struggle worldwide, the future is optimistic for online work. The average freelancer expects to earn 43% more in 2013 than they did this year. This rise in earnings is translating into more jobs for all as 42% of independent professionals plan to hire other freelancers to build their businesses in 2013. It's no accident either; we adapt to current trends and are advocates of innovation. A very "decent" number of our placements have been recruited through social media. We are definitely not one dimensional and neither are our candidates.
