The average ecommerce salary has risen

Our new document looks at key changes from 2016 to 2019. The first significant change we looked at was the average salary across the industry. Whether they’re starting out in the ecommerce industry, or have climbed the dizzy heights to department director, the right remuneration is vital to ecommerce professionals. We looked at junior, mid-level and senior salary increases to see if employees are being paid fairly at each important stage of their career.

Has each seniority level seen a steady increase or have there been any decreases? There’s only one way to find out!

Different roles call for different responsibilities…so, would there be variations in salary changes across our ecommerce specialisms? The simple answer is yes – but, what are these differences? Without giving too much away, not every specialism has seen a steady increase!

Are new job salaries matching expectations?

Salary will always play a big part in someone accepting a potential new job. Having looked at the average salaries within each ecommerce specialism, we then studied the average salary on offer for roles within these specialisms.
