My incredible 'pandalicious' first week!

I was so eager, even after reading the job description to get in touch with cranberry panda! I had my first meeting with Jonathan and Chris. Instantly I felt incredibly comfortable, and so excited to be discussing my passions and views with two people who fully accepted, and understood what I was saying. As we discussed the company values and cranberry panda’s history, it is the first time when speaking with a business I believed what they stood for. The obvious love for their company and the determination to achieve their goals was infectious and I left the interview even more hooked then from the start.

The second interview I had the pleasure of meeting Yasmin - her progression and attitude towards the company made it clear to me that this is where I wanted to be. I met the rest of the team, fell completely obsessed with such an amazing group of people and instantly accepted the chance to become a fellow panda!

Hearing more about the Ecommerce industry, discussing digital marketing and even learning a lot more then I thought I knew about social media and design roles really peaked my interest, professionally and personally.

Be Exceptional - each & every panda is exceptional!

Running and maintaining a company with so many different personalities and experiences, ensuring it all works smoothly is an exceptionally hard task. But for here at cranberry panda it works and the pandas combined knowledge of their specialisms and love for the company is the common ground they all share.

That is something that has made an incredible impression for me here, is that everyone knows so much about their field! Whether it be Performance Marketing, Data Analysis, Design, Digital Marketing or Social Media – they have got it covered. (Plus so much more!)

cranberry panda have not lost what makes them exceptional to the usual reputation recruitment agencies get and that is something to be very proud of.

To top it all off, the chances provided for me here and the career progression that is achievable is real. Its not just a line said in an interview to get me through the door – it is very much a reality and that for me makes all the difference.

Who am I apart from being a proud panda?

I have had many roles within my work history, including being a PA / Data Clerk within the NHS for nearly 4 years. An Account Handler and Graphic Designer for a signage / interior design company for over a year and, up until recently, a Marketing Recruitment Consultant within the property sector. I found it was recruiting for marketing professionals that helped me to realise it is a career I want to do myself.

I studied fine art, drama and history mainly during my educational years and am going to be starting my Marketing degree that I can complete around work here. Marketing Assistant and marketing degree will work hand in hand very nicely.

What does the future hold for a new panda cub?

My focus now and throughout my career is to keep learning! It is important for me to learn anything and everything within the Ecommerce industry, so I can market and advertise our roles and business so much better.

It is the same with marketing, I want to be an asset to cranberry panda which means constantly striving for the next qualification, idea and knowing my industry knowledge!

So, my plan - make my contribution to cranberry panda the best it can possibly be.

Our team are some of the best when it comes to knowing the Ecommerce market and they are in touch with some amazing candidates and our clients are just as incredible. Take the time to have a look at our website and see what we can do for you. I can promise cranberry panda will make it a priority, to treat each client / candidate and experience as unique and entirely tailored to your needs as possible.
