What the Panda is Panda Pounds?

Panda Pounds is what we call of annual eCommerce Salary Survey campaign. It covers everything from our questionnaire to our report release, our Panda Pounds launch party and the eCommerce features we release throughout the year.

Who uses the eCommerce Salary Survey and Insights report?

Our report is downloaded and requested from individuals and businesses all over the world. From CEOs and HR superstars to eCommerce professionals. CEOs, HR superstars and senior eCommerce professionals use the report for budget setting and salary benchmarking. If a multichannel retailer, pure play brand or eCommerce startup is hiring someone to work within, or manage, their eCommerce team, they'll grab a copy of our report to help them understand how much people should be paid and how they can create a competitive and enticing offer.

They'll also refer to the report when it comes to pay reviews... eCommerce heroes read our report to discover how their pay matches up to others within the industry - are they well-paid or underpaid; do others receive more benefits? Are they working more overtime than everyone else?

In our report, you'll also find a whole load of industry related insights, from the daily commute to personal branding. This means that anyone with an interest in the industry can get their paws on eCommerce trends, developments, and industry growth.

What's in our 2017 eCommerce Salary Survey?

In this year's eCommerce Salary Survey questionnaire, we'll be asking questions on the following topics: Your background (no personally identifiable information required) Your current role. Your current salary band, benefits and overtime levels.

Your current company (no brand names required; this section is solely about the number of people in your team, etc). Your daily commute. Your salary expectations for 2017. Your expectations for the eCommerce industry in 2017. Workplace happiness.

Your expectations for, and thoughts on, the hiring process and timelines. Personal branding. It sounds like a lot, but it doesn't take a long time to get through. There are many non-compulsory sections within the questionnaire so if you're short on time, but want to be involved, there are fast track options available. Privacy and the 2017 eCommerce Salary Survey Here at cranberry towers, we take your privacy very seriously.

When it comes to our eCommerce Salary Survey, you can rest assured that we'll never release any personally identifiable information about you. All of our report and Panda Pounds feature data is displayed in aggregate.

So, why do we ask for your email address and first name? Providing us with either is optional and you're very welcome to take part anonymously if you'd prefer. However, if you would like: a copy of our report; to be added into our survey prize draw; an invite to our exclusive eCommerce Salary Survey launch party; and Panda Pounds updates then you'll want to share your email address with us.

We'll only use your email address to: let you know if you've won our survey prize; send you a copy of our 2017 eCommerce Salary Survey and Insights report; invite you to our launch party; share Panda Pounds insights and feature posts with you. You don't have to opt in for all of the above though. When you complete the survey, you'll be able to opt in for some, all, or none of the listed communications.
