Our 2022 eCommerce Salary Survey & Insights report reveals all! For this employee review, we will be taking questionnaire data from our product management respondents only. 

Work-life balance for product management employees

Working in eCommerce & digital recruitment, we know how fast-paced the industry can be. Are Product and project management professionals finding the right balance? Overall, across all of our eCommerce specialisms, 69% of respondents are happy with their work-life balance.

When taking our product management professionals' responses, 77% are happy with their balance between work and home. So, it's a positive increase from the overall figure!

Product Management professionals - happiness in current role

We asked our asked to rate their happiness in their current role out of ten. Looking at the product management respondents, the average is 7.7/10. This has increased slightly from 7.2/10 in 2021. Our recent blog about workplace happiness in eCommerce has more insights that could offer some ideas about improving workplace sentiments. So far, however, it looks like product management professionals are on the right track. 

Overtime for product management professionals

Is overtime playing a big part when it comes to product management employee satisfaction? Let's find out how many extra hours this segment is doing...

• A few minutes here and there: 14% (10% in 2021)
• Half an hour: 14% (6% in 2021)
• An hour: 7% (6% in 2021)
• Between 2-3 hours: 21% (24% in 2021)
• Between 3-5 hours: 14% (17% in 2021)
• More than 5 hours: 16% (23% in 2021)
