Our client is one of Europe's leading ecommerce businesses, partnering with thousands of international fashion, sportswear and lifestyle brands. Following continued international growth, they are investing in building a new commercial team in Portugal.

This is a unique opportunity to join at the beginning of that journey, working directly with leading consumer brands while helping shape the growth of the business in the Portuguese market.

 

The Role

This is a commercially focused position combining business development, key account management and commercial negotiation.

You'll be responsible for developing strategic partnerships, negotiating commercial agreements and managing relationships with leading brands, while working closely with internal buying, marketing and operations teams to deliver successful ecommerce campaigns.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a portfolio of strategic brand partners.
  • Identify and secure new commercial opportunities.
  • Negotiate pricing, margins, promotional activity and commercial agreements.
  • Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Coordinate the successful launch of online campaigns.
  • Monitor commercial performance, analysing sales, margins and profitability.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including Buying, Marketing, Finance and Logistics.
  • Identify opportunities to grow existing partnerships and improve commercial performance.

 

About You

  • Fashion, Sportswear or Lifestyle brands

 

We're particularly interested in candidates who are:

 

  • Commercially driven with a hunter mentality.
  • Strong negotiators who enjoy building long-term partnerships.
  • Comfortable managing both commercial discussions and operational execution.
  • Able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passionate about ecommerce and consumer brands.

 

Experience

  • 5+ years' commercial experience.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Experience working with fashion, sportswear, lifestyle or consumer brands.
  • Ecommerce, wholesale, marketplace or off-price experience would be advantageous.
